The Frosted Woods ripple lapghan is finished (other than weaving a couple tails) and will be added to the donation pile shortly. This makes only lapghan #2 for this year’s donation pile so far, due to work as I’ve mentioned before. Lapghan #1 is called Ocean Tides and also only needs to have the tails weaved for it to be done. Can you tell that my least favorite part of crocheting is weaving tails? Never fear, all tails are weaved before the blankets are delivered! Lapghan #3 is in the works now, about 12 rows done, and is called Sunset. This one will also be a ripple ghan but different sized ripples than Frosted Woods.
Pictures you ask? Well, I suppose I could take a few pictures and share them with you. Once the battery for the camera charges enough to take a couple pictures anyway!
First up is Lapghan #1 – Ocean Tides. This is made with Caron Simply Soft yarn and I think an H hook. Very simple ch 1, dc1 pattern. 5 different shades of blue plus the color bone.
Lapghan #2 is Frosted Woods. This ghan is made with Red Heart Super Saver in Frosted Flecks and Woodsy. Again a very simple pattern, just ripples done with DCs.
And for your enjoyment (I hope), a sneak peak at lapghan #3 – Sunset. Also done with RHSS, this time in Bright Yellow, Pumpkin, Cherry Red, and possibly one dark color to help offset the brightness.
